What is MJF?

MJF (Multi Jet Fusion) Technology is the application of the fast spray logic currently applied to hp brand 2D printers in 3D printers. This method has made it available to the world with HP Jet Fusion 3D printers released in 2016.

In practice, the steps that begin with the melting of the polyamide powder from the reservoir with agents in 30 million droplets per second and the fusion of the layer continue with the agents catching the temperature. This cycle is repeated until the model appears.

How work MJF?

  1. With the help of HP 3D Build Manager or Netfabb software, STL or 3MF data is displayed on the system tray.
  2. The dust bed is initially evenly heated.
  3. The polyamide powder material from the PA12 type is laid layer by layer from the chamber to the bed.
  4. Where particles must be melted depending on the selection, a fusion agent is sprayed and a detailed agent is thrown around the contours to increase the resolution of the part.
  5. As the lamps cross the surface of the dust bed, the sprayed material captures the heat and helps to distribute it evenly.
  6. This completed layer forms the basis for the new layer to be knitted as a result of the movement of the head or production table to a unit (as much as a layer thickness).
  7. This process continues until all the layers that make up the model are formed.
  8. The finished model is allowed to cool down and protected from impacts by preventing rapid temperature change.
  9. The cooled model is cleaned of its dust with the help of vacuum air.
