What is FDM or FFF Technology?
FDM (Fused Deposition Modelling) or FFF (Fused Filament Fabrication) is a technology used in three-dimensional printing technologies to create powerful, durable and dimensionally stable parts with its measurable accuracy and reproducibility. It is a layered manufacturing technology that works with thermoplastics. It is based on the principle of melting filamented thermoplastic parts and applying them to the layer by layer production table. Fused Deposition Modelling, also known as FFF (Fused Filament Fabrication), can create all the geometries you have in mind. Therefore, you can use parts manufactured with this technology as end-use components in the aircraft industry, to meet your prototype needs, such as production vehicles in the military industry or automotive factory.
Benefits of FDM Technology:
This technology is clean, easy to use and office-friendly. Production class thermoplastics produced with FDM and FFF technology are mechanically and environmentally stable. Thanks to the support material technology, complex geometries and gaps are suitable for this technology.
How Fused Deposition Modelling Technology Works?
This technology is a filament-based technology in which a temperature-controlled head passes a layer of thermoplastic material in a layer on a platform. If necessary, a support structure can be created embedded in the part using a water-soluble material.
